Job Summary The Division of Cardiac Surgery is seeking a permanent full time track Cardiac Surgeon to join our group of six surgeons. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years full time independent operating experience. Additional training and experience in complex open and minimally invasive mitral and aortic valve surgery would be an asset. The start time for the position is after April 1, . The Royal Columbian Hospital is a full-service, adult non-transplant cardiac surgery center serving a population of almost 2 million. Our service performs over open heart procedures annually, including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repair and replacement, complex aortic surgery, TEVAR and Ross procedures. We also perform tachy, brady and biventricular cardiac electrical device implants. We are equal partners in the TAVR, TEER and TMVR programs.
