• Developing and implementing purchase timing strategies and action schedules.
• Evaluating supplier quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers. Awarding contracts and monitoring adherence. Managing ongoing communications with suppliers.
• Selecting and procuring merchandise to meet sales, volume, gross margin, and turnover objectives.
