Business Development Manager

Overview

The Business Development Manager is responsible for productive working relationships with selected Mortgage Brokerage firms in all of our operating markets. Reporting to the Director, Mobile & Broker Services, the role ensures Meridian has the Mortgage Broker connections required to surpass annual origination targets and acts as the primary steward and supporter of the Underwriting team. The incumbent will maintain awareness of broker lender product service offerings, rates and commission structures and advise of developing trends in the broker landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the “Go to” contact for all of our selected agents, brokers and Meridian Branch and corporate partners
• Administer onboarding discipline and review for all new broker firms ensuring Meridian has the audit information needed to understand who we do business with
