The Opportunity

The Economic and Creative Development is part of the Infrastructure and Grow Management Division. This department is responsible for the attraction and facilitation of new business investment and helping employers access the business opportunities of the area. They encourage and promote the creation of new Barrie-based enterprises, including start-ups and small business services, and support the retention, growth, and expansion of the City's existing businesses.

Reporting to the Manager of Business Development in the Economic and Creative Development Department (Invest Barrie), the Business Development Analyst is responsible for the department's data research, collections, and analysis needs.
