BUILDING AUTOMATION SYSTEMS SPECIALIST

Position Summary Bring your building automation and energy management expertise to this exciting role with our Facilities Maintenance team.
The Building Automation Systems Specialist (BASS) is responsible for optimizing and modernizing building automation system controls across Northern Health facilities to improve energy efficiency, support conservation initiatives, and reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The BASS works closely with Facilities Maintenance staff, facility operators, and DDC technicians to identify, implement, and document low cost/no cost operational improvements within existing systems, while supporting the commissioning of new and retrofitted systems to ensure reliable performance and alignment with design intent, operational requirements, and Northern Health’s energy management objectives.
Starting salary will be approximately from $76,111 to $95,138 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.
