U‑Haul Claims Canada is seeking a Claims Examiner to investigate, evaluate, and settle complex bodily injury claims across Canada. The successful candidate will handle both direct and litigated files, negotiate settlements, and manage investigations of moderate to high complexity claims via telephone and correspondence.
Essential Duties
- Full handling of both direct deal and litigated files.
- Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle bodily injury losses of moderate to high complexity.
- Collection and analysis of claims information.
- Accurate recording, reporting, and presentation of files.
- Manage challenging coverage claims with tact and professionalism.
- Arrange and manage vendors for investigations (IA’s, surveillance, legal defense, defense medicals).
