Job Description
Board of Directors Position Description Harvest Share Community Food Programs (HSCFP) is a community-based nonprofit organization with a mission to provide improved access to healthy, nutritious, affordable food for individuals and families in need in the District of Parry Sound.
Duties of the Board of Directors All members of the board of directors are responsible to:
Actively support the Mission, Vision and Values of HSCFP.
Attend and participate in meetings of the board of directors.
Keep confidential all information unless the Board of Directors determines that such information is public. This shall include, but not be limited to, information about staff/personnel, any personal information, and matters dealt with during closed sessions of the Board of Directors.
Exercise the powers of office and fulfill their responsibilities honestly, in good faith, and in the best interests of HSCFP.
