Board of Director - Board Treasurer About The Period Purse The Period Purse strives to create menstrual equity by ensuring sustainable access to period products for all and by ending the stigma associated with periods through education and advocacy. Founded in 2017, The Period Purse is a young organization in an exciting period of reflection, learning and future planning.
Last year we provided 6.5 million period products to communities in need and educated nearly 8,000 people on menstrual health and advocacy. Committed to menstrual equity, we collaborate with allies and engage with all levels of government to advance period equity across Canada—in workplaces, schools, and public spaces.
