The Halifax & Region Military Family Resource Centre (H&R MFRC) is inviting applications for new Board Members to serve a two-year term (September 2026 to June 2028). The H&R MFRC Board of Directors operates under a governance model with a commitment to the growth and financial well‑being of the organization and its mission to strengthen the well‑being of all those who share the unique experience of military life. The Board consists of at least 51% military family members. We may also include representation from veterans/veteran family members; supporters of the military community; or parents of child(ren) enrolled in the Provincially licensed and funded Shearwater Children’s Centre.
