Job Description
1. Job Purpose
To lead and manage the Biomedical Engineering function at Reliance Foundation Hospital by ensuring safe, reliable, and costeffective operation of all medical equipment in compliance with NABH/JCI standards. This includes equipment planning, procurement support, installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, vendor management, safety audits, and lifecycle management to enable high-quality patient care and clinical outcomes.
2. Accountabilities
1. Biomedical Equipment Management
- Oversee installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and repair of all medical equipment across clinical departments.
- Ensure uptime reliability, service quality, and reduction in breakdown frequency.
- Maintain complete equipment history logs as mandated by NABH/JCI.
