Biologist

Core6 Environmental  is seeking an entry-level, full-time Biologist  to join our team at our head office in Vancouver, BC. We are an energetic and exciting consulting firm that provides a range of environmental services. We are known for the quality of our work, strong technical skills and regulatory knowledge. 

Under guidance and mentorship, the successful candidate can expect to perform clearly defined tasks in support of Core6’s monitoring and contaminated sites services, such as the following:

• Field surveys (e.g., invasive plants, breeding bird, habitat quality);
• Water quality monitoring;
• Construction site monitoring;
• Erosion and sediment control monitoring;
• Environmental permitting support;
• Fish and amphibian salvage;
• Soil, sediment, surface water, and groundwater sample collection for contamination site investigations;
