Responsibilities
- Develop and improve methods to study biological processes related to food microbiology and safety.
- Write research proposals, establish experimental design, and implement project protocol.
- Design experiments for analysis and standardization of food microbiology and safety protocols.
- Lead collection and analysis of data, interpret results to inform research questions and objectives.
- Collaborate with other researchers to create and evaluate new methods and technologies for detecting and controlling foodborne pathogens.
- Independently design and execute research on isolation and taxonomic identification of microorganisms from various citrus products and processes.
