Position Overview
Bilingual Disability Claim Specialist (Complex Claims & COD). Remote or hybrid (Kingston, Toronto, Montreal). Salary and bonus target range: $78,698 – $125,350. This role is subject to permanent hiring and base salary is determined by skills and experience.
Responsibilities
- Expert Claim Adjudication and Strategy: Proactively manage a dedicated portfolio of high‑complexity LTD claims, support the Change of Definition process by coaching and signing off on milestones, develop case‑management strategies, drive early intervention, and adjudicate appeals with thorough reviews of evidence.
- Team Leadership and Mentorship: Serve as the primary resource for Disability Case Managers on COD and complex files, provide coaching, lead team sessions for complex file reviews, and conduct quality assurance on COD and complex claims.
