Job Description
Take charge of the Heritage Program at BC Energy Regulator, integrating heritage conservation into energy resource management. This full-time position offers hybrid work with a focus on compliance and collaboration.
As the Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the Heritage Conservation Program at the BCER, emphasizing the protection of archaeological resources during energy developments. This involves supervising staff, managing projects, and ensuring compliance with various heritage acts while fostering mutual relationships with Indigenous communities and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and evaluate the archaeology resource management program
• Supervise and support HCP team and project delivery
• Provide strategic advice for regulatory project reviews
