In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing legal matters pertaining to the Professional Conduct Review (PCR) department. Reporting to the Director, Legal Services, you will analyze complaints, guide legal strategies, and work towards trauma-informed resolutions. Your role extends to improving processes and practices to ensure equitable and ethical standards in patient care across British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze professional conduct review legal matters
• Manage and lead legal proceedings as needed
• Instruct external counsel on specific PCR cases
• Collaborate on process improvements within PCR
• Deliver training on legal matters to team members
Requirements:
• Juris Doctor or equivalent with B.C. Law Society standing
