Job Description
Join Kids & Company as a Maintenance Specialist, dedicated to keeping our child care environments safe and functional. This full-time role involves hands-on maintenance across multiple centres in British Columbia.
We seek candidates who take pride in their work and possess 2-3 years of maintenance experience. Your responsibilities will include handling plumbing, basic electrical work, carpentry, and general repairs. You’ll also coordinate with external contractors and participate in upcoming renovations to support our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance and inspections at various centres
• Address facility issues including carpentry and painting
• Manage preventative maintenance for compliance
• Keep accurate maintenance records up to date
• Assist with urgent maintenance requirements after hours
Requirements:
• 2–3 years of relevant maintenance or operations experience
• Valid BC driver's license and strong troubleshooting skills
