What you’ll do:
Lead the team in a manner that demonstrates day-to-day behaviors that align with and strengthen the Co-operative’s vision, mission, values, and brand. Manage the Department in accordance with the company policies, procedures, programs, merchandising standards and overall expectations.Recruit, train, develop, coach and motivate the team while fostering a positive work environment that enables the engagement of all team members in the pursuit of desired results. Ensures that all products are fresh and meet company quality standards.Perform team performance reviews and action plans for development.Manage inventory levels and lead scheduled inventory procedures.Provide feedback to the Food Manager regarding recommendations for continued improvement of operations.
