AZAD TRUCKING LTD. is hiring a full-time Truck Driver in Edmonton, AB, offering a competitive pay of $36.00 per hour. The position is permanent with immediate openings available.
This Truck Driver role requires physical presence in Edmonton while handling cargo loading, inspecting vehicle equipment, and ensuring the safety and security of goods. Candidates must have a Class 1 or A Driver's License. Previous experience is an asset but not mandatory, making this an excellent opportunity for new drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Efficiently load and unload truck shipments
• Inspect vehicle conditions including tires and brakes
• Execute brake adjustments as necessary
• Perform detailed pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
• Maintain records of cargo, service hours, and distances
Requirements:
• Class 1 or A Driver's License required
• Secondary school graduation certificate
• Experience is beneficial but not essential
