Job Description

The Department of Physics at the University of Alberta invites applications for the Avadh Bhatia Women’s Postdoctoral Fellowship. This position is an initial appointment of two years and offers a $60,000.00 annual stipend (50% from supervising faculty, 50% from an endowment).

Location

This role is in‑person and primarily takes place at North Campus, Edmonton.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research in space physics, condensed matter physics, astrophysics, biophysics, geophysics, or subatomic physics.

Qualifications

• PhD in physics or a related research area.
