Associate Vice President, Indigenization and Decolonization
The Associate Vice President (AVP) for Indigenization and Decolonization is the senior leader guiding the university’s indigenization and decolonization strategy, reporting to the Provost and Vice‑President, Academic. The AVP will provide transformative vision, oversee the Office of Indigenization and Decolonization, and lead collaborative efforts with internal and external communities to ensure Indigenous perspectives are integrated throughout the curriculum, research, and institutional practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic vision and policies for indigenization and decolonization in alignment with the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action.
