Champion diversity and advocacy as the Associate Vice-President for Equity & Advocacy at MSU. Lead initiatives, develop programs, and impact student communities throughout your term.
As the Associate Vice-President, you will chair the Student Representative Assembly's Equity & Advocacy committee and provide guidance on essential social issues. This role blends leadership, strategic planning, and student engagement to foster an inclusive environment. Your efforts will involve collaboration with other departments to develop resources and programs while supporting the student body.
Key Responsibilities:
• Chair the SRA Standing Committee on Campus-Wide Equity & Advocacy
• Coordinate logistics for advocacy-related events and programs
• Develop training materials for students and groups
• Maintain communication with the VP Education and SRA
• Manage budgets and resources for advocacy initiatives
