Job Description
**Core Purpose of the Role**:Responsibility for all countries in Latin America (LATAM) in which AIG operates.Responsibility includes managing the LATAM tax team, the quarterly reporting cycle under US GAAP/ IFRS equivalent and annual corporate tax/regulatory compliance, handling tax queries and providing support to the business on a variety of tax technical issues and projects.Will involve regular interaction with country and regional CFO.
**Key Responsibilities**:- Actively manage direct tax compliance process by ensuring submission of statutory tax returns in the region in an accurate and timely manner- Manage tax authority enquiries and audits including liaising with external advisors and in-house tax specialists.
- Work with in-house tax planning group to assist transactions/internal restructuring.Operationalise and implement transactions.
