Associate Lawyer

Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Associate Lawyer role based in Langley, BC. The Associate Lawyer will manage a caseload under the supervision of senior counsel, including client intake, legal research, drafting pleadings and agreements, and preparing correspondence. Daily responsibilities include attending client meetings, court appearances, mediations, and negotiations, as well as reviewing and drafting contracts, affidavits, and other legal documents. The role involves collaborating with other lawyers and staff, maintaining accurate file records, and meeting court and transactional deadlines. The Associate Lawyer will also support business development efforts, contribute to firm initiatives, and uphold professional and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed (or eligible for licensing) as a lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia.
