Summary This is an open-continuous announcement for Assistant United States Attorneys in the Criminal Division of our Macon, GA and Columbus, GA offices. This announcement will remain open until all available positions are filled. Applicant lists will be reviewed and referred on June 17, 2026 and every two weeks thereafter until the vacancies are filled, but no later than April 23, 2027. Responsibilities The United States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Georgia is seeking applications from experienced attorneys who have a strong criminal prosecution background to fill one or more Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) vacancies in the Criminal Division. Our criminal caseload consists of white-collar crimes, immigration crimes, drug-trafficking crimes, and crimes of violence, including child exploitation offenses.
