- Oversees day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, payroll, check runs, cash flow) in compliance with legislation, contracts, and PCL policies.
- Supports implementation, monitoring and adherence to district and company accounting policies and procedures.
- Reviews, analyzes and approves financial adjustments, reconciliations, forecasts and reports; follows up on discrepancies.
- Leads month‑end and year‑end review processes, including preparation of district review and year‑end documentation.
- Assembles internal and external financial reporting (e.g., MOR, DRM, audits, government reporting, taxes).
- Manages the district cash‑flow cycle and recommends process improvements.
