This position operates maintains and repairs the asphalt plant and various types of equipment as required This position reports to the Crew Lead Asphalt Plant
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Operates under the supervision of a Crew Lead Asphalt Plant a fully computerized batch plant which includes operation and control of cold and hot bins liquid asphalt storage silos and related equipment for storing and dispensing asphalt mixes dust collections system heating weighing and mixing ingredients at predetermined proportions and dispatching various asphalt mixesAssist the crew lead andor industrial mechanic to performs inspection maintenance and complicated repairs as necessary to ensure the asphalt plant and other stationary equipment is kept in good operating condition which at times requires working at sixty 60 or more feet above ground level work and lift heavy weights up to 50 kgCond...
