Seaspan ULC is seeking an Area Manager, Pipe. The role is fully onsite at 50 Pemberton Avenue, North Vancouver, B.C.

Job Description

As the Area Manager, Pipe (JSS) you will work with the Trade Manager (Pipe) and be responsible for managing and directing all production activities within a specific Ship. You must ensure safety, quality, cost, and schedule alignment of the piping in blocks and zones within your defined area. Daily liaison is required with Management, Safety, Quality & Accuracy Control, and Trade Personnel.

What You’ll Do

• Verify completion of pipefitting production work for each phase of the block, zone, and ship, conduct necessary inspections, and report results to senior management.
• Ensure the safety of all employees working in the assigned ship.
• Implement HSEQ plans on the shop floor and strive to eliminate safety hazards at every opportunity...
