Application Engineer
Job Description
Timken Power Systems Philadelphia Gear brand has a current opening for an Application Engineer to provide project engineering and application support for drivetrain projects. The application engineer will develop technical proposals and scope‑of‑work from customer specifications, support design and manufacturability, and act as a technical liaison across sales, production, quality, and supply chain.
Responsibilities
Develop technical scope and contribute technical content for proposals and quotations, including component selection and clear costing assumptions.
Perform component sizing, basic calculations, and generate or review drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation to support manufacturability.
Coordinate cross‑functional technical activities on assigned projects, track deliverables, and report status to the manager and stakeholders.
