Job Description: The Northern Health Region is currently seeking 2 Anesthesiologists (Specialist or Family Practice Anesthesiologists) to practice in a multidisciplinary environment in Thompson, Manitoba. The Northern Health Region is geographically the largest of the five Regional Health Authorities in the province of Manitoba and has a population of 72,000 people spread over 396,000 km², resulting in a population density of 0.18 persons per km². Mining, hydro‑electric development, forestry, commercial fishing, trapping, transportation and tourism are the major industries in the Region.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Manitoba.
- Candidates with Royal College Certification are preferred.
- Family Practice Anesthetists (FPA) must have a Certificate of Added Competency in Family Practice Anesthesia from a recognized University.
