ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Execute accounting activities required to support the plant operations including cost accounting, safeguarding of inventories and other assets, budgeting and forecasting, new parts introductions, product transfers & maintenance of US GAAP and statutory books.
Maintain the integrity of the standard cost system by analyzing the product scrap rates, labor rates and machine rates and making the appropriate recommendations to update the bill of materials and/or routers.Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial package for Executive and Corporate Management. Compile and maintain supporting schedules related to reporting.Prepare and regularly maintain the costing sheets and new instruction products.Execute the month-end close process which includes preparing journal entries, preparing reconciliations, and preparing monthly reports.Analyze standard cost variances related to material purchase price, material usa...
