Alumni and Annual Giving Associate

As an ambassador for Lakehead University and its Alumni Association, the Alumni & Community Engagement Officer is an integral member of the University Advancement Team. The Officer’s primary role focuses on strengthening relationships with alumni by creating meaningful opportunities for engagement with Lakehead University. In addition, the Officer will enhance the visibility and elevate the brand of Lakehead University in the community.

This position will implement the established objectives and strategies, as defined in the University Advancement 5 Year Plan ) to maximize alumni through experiential, volunteer and philanthropic opportunities. Alumni are vital to the strength of Lakehead University acting as advocates, connections to community including job markets and through philanthropic support. This position connects alumni and the community to Lakehead’s mission.
