Advisor for Youth Life Promotions - Kanikonriio
Job Description
Shape the futures of youth in the Kanikonriio Child & Youth Program! This Advisor role focuses on life promotion for ages 0-18 dealing with mental health and addiction issues.
As the Youth Life Promotion Advisor, you will report to the Manager of Kanikonriio programs under Six Nations of the Grand River. This full-time position includes creating care plans, conducting supportive programs, and generating initiatives for mental wellbeing. You’ll also provide timely crisis support for families and youth in distress.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop personalized care plans to address individual needs
• Conduct groups and workshops to promote social skills
• Provide crisis intervention support and referrals
• Collaborate with schools to foster youth engagement
• Integrate cultural practices into service delivery
