JOB SUMMARY

Using a strength-based, solution-focused, harm-reduction approach within the context of anti-oppressive practice, the Addictions Counsellor will assess and treat youth and young adults (14-24), who are experiencing social, emotional and/or behavioral difficulties as a result of substance use impacting their mental and physical health. The Addictions Counsellor will provide services in an office-based setting as well as outreach services to clients attending one of four high schools in the community throughout the school year.
