Job Description
Overview
Child Development Institute (CDI) provides specialized mental health services for children and youth aged 0‑18 and their families. The Activity Group Leader (AGL) supports siblings of clients in the SNAP clinical programs.
Responsibilities
- Provide fun, engaging activities for children ages 2‑12.
- Prepare healthy snacks and manage clean‑up at end of session.
- Collaborate with Activity Group Support Worker & SNAP clinical staff to meet each child's needs.
- Supervise siblings during Activity Group, ensuring safety and security.
- Monitor participant behavior and intervene proactively to avoid behavioral escalations.
- Provide food and drinks as required; ensure refreshments available.
- Participate in pre‑briefs and post‑briefs with SNAP supervisor.
- Meet and greet families, accompany children to activity group.
- Maintain attendance records for ministry reporting.
