We are looking for an accounts payable clerk for a 3 months contract to start asap in our client company. The company is in Cosmetics manufacturing industry.
Contract position: 3 months
Working location: Scarborough
Processing of all Inventory and non-inventory invoices, including matching backup and filing backup doc.Verify that transactions are in alignment with company procedures.Coding of Invoices – ensures appropriate GL codes are used.Review of PO accrual account – investigate and clear old items, clear zero value customer owned receivers.Analysis of vendor prepayments at month end and reallocate to prepaid.Weekly cheque run /wire transfer processing for Canadian and US vendors- ensuring that only authorized purchases for goods/services received are paid and on-timeReconciliation of aged payables at month end to GLAnalyze all accounts on a mon...
