Job Description
The Role
As an Accounting Technician , you will play a key role in supporting our Senior Accountants, Managers, and Partners across a diverse portfolio of clients. You will apply your technical accounting skills to deliver full‑cycle bookkeeping and accounting support while maintaining strong client relationships.
What You’ll Do
- Manage a portfolio of clients, performing full‑cycle accounting to the general ledger stage.
- Prepare bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable sub‑ledgers, and investment reconciliations.
- Complete payroll processing, including benefits, source deductions, ROEs, and interprovincial WorkSafe filings.
- Prepare GST/HST, QST, PST, and other statutory tax filings.
- Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring timeliness and compliance with client and statutory deadlines.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance processes and support workflow efficiencies.
