Job Description

On behalf of our Calgary Client, Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled an Accounting Clerk/Junior Accountant to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable invoices and related transactions accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank reconciliations
  • Prepare and post journal entries, including recurring and adjusting entries
  • Assist with the preparation and recording of accruals
  • Support month-end closing activities, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies or variances as needed
  • Maintain accurate financial records and support audits when required
  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
