THE ROLE
Reporting to the Corporate Accounting Manager within the Corporate Finance team, the Intercompany Accounting Analyst will be responsible for accounting for intercompany transactions in Canada.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare periodic entries (monthly, quarterly, and annual)
- Perform balance sheet account analyses and monitor variances
- Identify and analyze intercompany variances, then make the appropriate adjustments
- Prepare periodic summaries for different currencies
- Reassess intercompany balances in a multi-currency environment
- Make GST and QST remittances
