Accountant/FP&A

Harbinger has partnered with a large non for profit agency to find a strong FP&A/Accountant. This role is a 6‑month to permanent contract. The person will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, and financial integrity across the entire non‑profit organization. The role includes senior accounting responsibilities, budgeting, forecasting, funder reporting, merger‑related financial activities, and full ownership of one entity’s financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the preparation, accuracy, and completeness of monthly financial reporting
• Ensure integrity of financial statements through review of general ledger activity, accruals, and adjustments
• Review reconciliations and financial schedules prior to reporting
• Lead annual budgeting process including staffing models and program allocations
