Job Description
Position Summary
The General Accountant, under the supervision of the Assistant Controller, will provide support general accounting functions that support the creation of month-end and year-end financial statements. Ensure accounting records and general ledger is maintained accurately and in accordance with GAAP principles.
Essential Responsibilities- Balance Sheet Reconciliation
- Preparing and validating invoice payments
- Responsible for verification and posting of closing GL journal entries
- To be in charge of auditing
- Coordinate/perform closing activities
- Ad Hoc Analysis
- Performing/collecting information for inventory cycle count
- Fixed Asset Reconciliation
- Distribution of department spend information
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or Business Administration
