Accountant for Real Estate Investments
Job Description
Support a growing real estate investment firm in Vancouver as an Accountant. This in-office position emphasizes payroll processing and multi-entity revenue accounting.
As an Accountant, you'll work under the Accounting Manager, managing payroll for a team of 60-80 employees while ensuring accurate revenue reconciliation. You will take part in month-end closing, assist with audits, and collaborate with site managers to streamline accounting workflows. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will drive success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process bi-weekly payroll via PayWorks
• Reconcile revenue from multiple operating entities
• Prepare month-end and year-end journal entries
• Assist in annual audit preparation and reporting
• Streamline accounting processes and workflows
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance
• 2–4 years accounting experience, ideally multi-entity
