Job Description
Responsibilities
- Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of all financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with local GAAP and/or IFRS.
- Ensure timely month‑end and year‑end close processes.
- Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local tax laws, corporate laws, and other statutory requirements; coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities; handle audits (statutory, internal, tax) and respond to queries.
- Taxation: Prepare and file corporate income tax, VAT/GST, and withholding tax returns; calculate tax provisions; ensure compliance with transfer‑pricing regulations.
