Job Description
Elevate privacy standards as the Access Officer focusing on compliance in Mount Pearl Square. This role involves managing organizational responses to privacy legislation.
In this position, you will coordinate responses in accordance with the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act. You’ll work closely with senior management to ensure legislative requirements are met and foster a culture of privacy compliance throughout the organization. Strong stakeholder engagement will be crucial to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and coordinate responses for ATIPPA compliance
• Liaise with and assist senior managers in responses
• Review documents related to access requests thoroughly
• Facilitate meetings to enhance privacy culture
• Guide access to information initiatives in your department
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred
• Minimum of 5 years in management roles...
