Shape the future of undergraduate education as an Academic Coordinator in the Philosophy Department at UVic. You'll support critical thinking courses, mentor TAs, and enhance student engagement.
This newly created role will focus on managing high-enrollment critical thinking and logic courses. The Academic Coordinator will facilitate in-person office hours, online grading, and teaching support. Your leadership will be vital as you connect academic and administrative elements while providing exceptional guidance to both students and Teaching Assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise undergraduate students on course material and assignments
• Provide administrative support for Philosophy instructors
• Supervise and mentor Teaching Assistants
• Maintain course content on Brightspace
