Job Overview

The Township of Langley is currently recruiting for a regular full-time Planner 1 to join our team of professionals in the Community Development Division, Development Planning Department. Reporting to the Manager, Development Planning, in this unionized position you will take on a wide range of development planning responsibilities, including reviewing urban and rural issues, and processing rezoning, subdivision, ALR, and development permit applications. This position will appeal to applicants who can provide informed advice and interpretation on land development projects, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and are committed to supporting a strong, well balanced community.
