What you will do
While assigned to a business team at Kearl site to support, you will lead the materials/integrity program in your area, helping to ensure both short term and long term performance and integrity of the piping, tanks, and vessels for that area. Manage or create corrosion control programs, update equipment strategies, enhance our knowledge of equipment degradation modes that ultimately feed into our Risk Based Inspection program.Review current and forward looking technologies ( weld procedures, materials designs) and work with our material subject matter experts to assess viability for future use. Develop and optimize detailed inspection plans and relay that to our contractors for execution.On an going basis, support our business teams in rationalizing future spend activities, preparations for outages and shutdowns, and input into our planning processes.
