2026-015E - Term Specific Teacher/District Counsellor

Term‑Specific Inclusive Education District Counsellor (Itinerant) – supported by the Fraser Cascade School District to improve student learning and well‑being.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health supports to students across the district, including those attending school and working remotely.
• Offer support to students and families at school, home, off‑site locations, and on reserve.
• Work flexible hours—including after school and evenings—to meet student and family needs, prioritising elementary students.
• Collaborate with the Inclusive Education Department to support priority students.
• Coordinate referrals to the ICY Team and other agencies.
• Support and supervise District Child & Youth Care Workers.
• Deliver direct counselling and support to students and families.
• Lead staff in mental health matters and advocate for students and parents.
