Title: REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNCIAN (RBT)
Position Type: Non-Exempt
Primary Function:
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) implements, under the supervision of the division's Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Minimum Qualifications:
- Credentialed as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) as issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Associate's Degree or higher preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Skills in implementing behavior support plans as trained by the BCBA and/or school staff
