Westlake Pipe & Fittings, a Westlake company (NYSE: WLK), is a leading manufacturer of polyvinyl chloride pipe and fittings in North America. This engineering co‑op provides students with exposure to process engineering and plant operations at our Woodbridge, ON manufacturing plant.

About the Job

• Participate in the company’s safety culture, including gap analysis and equipment introduction for hazard elimination.
• Work closely with Plant Superintendents, Operations Manager and Process Engineer on design and operation improvement projects.
• Liaise with New Product Development, material scientists and plant team to support new product and equipment launches.
• Create and improve plant processes to promote proactive decision‑making.
• Participate in the creation and approval of SOPs & OPLs.
• Perform data analysis for past and future projections.
